GEC Behavioral Health Program is committed to providing an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to help connect our clients to the resources they need on their path to well-being.
Our desire is to offer an array of culturally competent and evidence-based behavioral healthcare, prevention, treatment, and educational programs delivered by a team of qualified professionals.
Aspiring to improve care access, we are offering virtual behavioral health services.
Counseling Services are available in
individual, group and family formats to
address a number of issues including
depression, anxiety, stress, domestic
violence, relationships, bullying, grief,
substance use, trauma and more.
Psychiatric Medication Management
includes initial psychiatric evaluation in
which the prescriber will discuss how
medication may be a valuable part of a
person’s mental health recovery. The
need and frequency of ongoing
medication management services will
be continually assessed.
Our Integrated Health Program offers free bilingual (CLAS), psychiatric care for participants with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or co-occurring disorders. Our client-centered, recovery-orientated care model is culturally competent, and it is an effective treatment model that reduces stigma. PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATION MONITORING
At GEC, we understand that some mental health conditions are best treated with a combination of therapy and medication. Participants in our intensive outpatient program have the option to meet with psychiatrists who can prescribe medication to treat symptoms related to their mental health condition. Ongoing medication monitoring is also available upon completion of the intensive outpatient program.
CHILD & ADOLESCENT OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS
At GEC we provide child and adolescent outpatient programs that meet the needs of your loved ones to work on improving their mental health issues.
We provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare treatment for children ages 5 through 12 and adolescents ages 13 through 17 in separate programs. Both adolescent and child outpatient programs aim to strengthen emotional and social functioning while providing the tools to return to healthy daily activities.
